Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, John Henry (vocals, guitar) has easily found inspiration to sing the blues. Relocating to Boston, he got his first taste of the blues stage at the age of 17, playing in the city's thriving blues scene. He later went back to Alabama to hone his skills, making frequent trips to Memphis' Beale Street. After serving four years in the military he embarked on a world tour playing his blues as far as Korea, Japan, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Bahrain and Panama. He has performed with such blues greats as Luther Allison, Louisiana Red, Buckwheat Zydeco, Michael Coleman, Katie Webster, L.A. Jones and John Mooney

ALBUM COVERWhen you listen to this album you will realize that there is a lot of diversity in the sound of this group. With Johnell Dickerson's gravely voice and pulsating bass lines, David Allan’s screaming guitar and Richard Parker's Chicago style horns, they have created the uncommon. The fusion of blues, rock and jazz musicians to create a sound that drives hard and has a jagged edge to it. They got together out of need for expression and just played what they felt, and hope others like it.

ALBUM COVERGuitarist Ronald Muldrow seems to run two musical lives. There’s his international recording star persona, in which the guitarist has been heard with the likes of pianist Mulgrew Miller, drummer Yoron Israel, vibraphonist Steve Nelson, bassist Peter Washington and other glitterati. Then there’s Muldrow the bandleader, the guy who presents those fascinating combinations of musicians in L.A., his current hometown. ..While much is made of Muldrow’s Wes Montgomery’s influence, the guitarist also claims the tradition of Kenny Burrell, Grant Green and Phil Upchurch as his own.. . If you like the bumpin’ style of Wes Montgomery, Muldrow both live and recorded is your man

Phil Driscoll has recorded more than 30 albums and CD’s. His award winning music is anointed and powerful. Today utilizing his state of the art recording studio the momentum of that musical ministry continues... Born out of MightyHorn Ministries for the sole purpose of creating and distributing anointed music, MightyHorn Records is the vehicle that is taking the music to the world.

“In the making of music for Jesus Christ, there is no shortage of talent or God called artistic people. There is simply the lack of a proper vehicle to get the music out. In the Christian music industry, many have replaced desire for the anointing with the pursuit of an award or men’s applause. It is imperative that we create a new wine skin…a new vehicle. Its success will not be measured by hit records or by millions of sales, but by souls won.”
